Naturopathy
The role of a naturopath is to work with a person to promote the body’s natural healing. Naturopathy addresses the relationship between all body systems and the impact diet and lifestyle have on health and well-being.
A fundamental principle of naturopathy is utilising foods, lifestyle factors, nutrients, herbs, and homeopathy to support the body’s healing processes.

NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP)
NLP is a process to help reveal and modify unproductive thoughts and behaviours to help create and achieve the desired outcome.
These unproductive or undesired thoughts and behaviours originate from life experiences and how our brain interprets the event. NLP is used to help individuals change their perceptions and behaviour to help expand a positive mindset. In doing so can help them to achieve their goals.
Hypnosis
Hypnosis is used to help make healthful changes in perception, behaviour, thoughts and beliefs. It is a method of inducing a deep state of relaxation (known as trance). This allows an individual to focus their mind on the problem more deeply to create solutions or make corrections towards their goals.
Hypnotherapy helps to:
- Quieten the conscious mind
- Tap into where your thoughts, beliefs, perceptions and sensations originate from
- Modify/replace the unconscious thoughts that are driving the current unwanted behaviour
Myths dispelled:
- Hypnosis is not a stage show or for entertainment. It is a form of medical therapy
- You DON’T lose consciousness or control. Most people remember everything during the hypnosis and are aware of what is occurring
- You are NOT controlled by the hypnotherapist. The practitioner guides you through the hypnosis but you cannot be made to do anything against your will. You always remain in complete control.
Meditation
